Wander

is a New York City-based artist from Rochester, NY. His artistry manifests in 3 main areas: Ballroom, Theater, and Modeling. He studied dance at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts where he performed in works by Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane and Trisha Brown as well as choreographed 3 Off-Broadway musicals: Cabaret, Spring Awakening, and Amélie.

Throughout his career he has noticed a tendency towards division amongst communities, both creative and non, and believes this tendency stems from a severe lack of empathy. His mission is to put empathy first in order to foster a community built on listening, understanding, and compromise instead of discourse, hostility, and solitude.

He is a member of The Royal Haus of Silk where he walks European Runway and Face. Ballroom has become his family, his safe space, and is where he continues to develop his artistic voice. In parallel, he is very passionate about musical theater and dreams of bringing his gift to a Broadway stage, and as a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association, that dream will soon become a reality.

Some of his passions include pop music, fashion, and reading fantasy novels!
